Richmond, VA – January 18th, 2018 – WealthForge announced today they have reached a milestone of a half billion dollars in capital investment transactions processed. These investments have helped fund more than 300 private offerings hosted on their platform, with an average offering size of $17 million.
“We’re very pleased by the momentum we’re seeing in our business. Our average offering size—currently $17 million—has grown 50% in the past year. More than $200 million was invested in 2017 alone, and we’ve seen an exciting ramp up in volume heading into the new year. ” said Mat Dellorso, Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder.
Included in the $500 million was a recently closed $25 million litigation finance fund and a $9 million private capital raise to fund an industrial real estate acquisition, along with other opportunities in energy, commercial real estate, and technology. Also contributing was the first Regulation A (Reg A+) offering on WealthForge’s platform, which has raised capital from more than 400 investors since its October launch.
