Year in Review: Why 2015 Was Our Best (So Far)

Written by Mat Dellorso | December 30, 2016

WealthForge had a great year in 2015. What started as just an idea a few years ago has grown into a flourishing capital markets movement, with an expanding team working every day to improve capital formation and power the next generation of private capital markets.

I’m excited to share WealthForge’s 2015 Year in Review Infographic, a celebration of the growth of our business, our team, and most importantly, our customers' prosperity.

We began 2015 with the launch of the WealthForge Invest Button, technology that simplifies the process of raising private capital, at FinovateSpring.

This technology innovation, as well as the high compliance standards we’ve established, has enabled our clients to raise private capital more efficiently than ever before. Our team worked tirelessly to diligence more than $1.3B in volume and helped place over 3,500 unique investments worth more than $939M. These transactions and investments will grow the economy and the returns will be reinvested back into tomorrow’s opportunities to move our society forward.

Through our success, we ended the year with recognition from UBS as a company shaping the Future of Finance.

We expect the new year to be just as exciting as more and more private placements will be completed online. In 2016, we expect to see larger institutions begin to participate in this emerging marketplace. We'll continue to see more people investing in private offerings and entrepreneurs receiving funding further promoting economic growth and job creation. With all of these tailwinds, the future looks promising.

As we enter into 2016 with even more innovation on the horizon, we continue our commitment to forever change the way private capital is raised by making it simpler and more transparent.
